With the USGA releasing their new GHIN product platform in 2019, WA GOLF now bills each golf club for all active members on their rosters effective January 1st each year. They ask all clubs to inactivate unpaid members prior to that time to avoid being billed for members who have not yet joined the club.
We (and WA GOLF) encourage all members who may travel south, to areas where GHIN is not frozen for the winter, to renew their memberships prior to the January 1 deadline to avoid having their GHIN's inactivated until they are paid.

Many new rules went into effect in 2019 which apply to all amateur golfers. Our Handicap Chairman, John Mayfield, provided us with a series of very short YouTube videos which clearly demonstrate the rule changes. We encourage everyone to click on the WA GOLF Icon to view these videos. Each video is generally less than 90 seconds. The overall driving force behind many of these changes was to improve the pace-of-play and enhance the enjoyment of golf.

It is surely on track to becoming the preeminent golfing facility in the City of Tacoma, and one of the finest Elks Lodges in the Pacific Northwest.
