FORMAT:    November 15 "frozen" handicap revision will be used.  If a member does not have a frozen handicap, they will be deemed to have a zero handicap. We will play from the Forward (GOLD) Tees.  Each team receives 20% of their combined course handicap.  This is the only event (outside of the Modified Member-Guest) where teams are allowed to include one non-club member.  Each team member will tee off on every hole. The best shot is selected and the 3 team members who did not hit the shot will play the 2nd shot from that location. Once again, the 3 team members who did not hit the selected 2nd shot will play the 3rd shot.  This rotation will continue until the ball is holed. One score per hole.  Pays Gross & Net.

March 15, 2021        Men's Club Tournament        Annual Match-Play Tournament        OPEN Event    $30 Entry
FORMAT:    The number of divisions and divisional breakdown will be determined by the number of entries.  A random drawing will pair opponents. Opponents will schedule their own matches in the time frames specified.  Each round will occur bi-monthly and the prevailing course handicap on the first day of each round will be utilized for the entire round.  Example:  round 1: March 15-31 (March 15 course handicap), round 2: April 1-14 (April 1 course handicap), etc...until the tournament is over.  Course conditions will dictate the playing rules, which must be agreed to by both opponents.  There will be a 2-round guarantee.  Any player losing their 1st OR 2nd round match will advance to the Consolation Bracket.  Multiple positions will be paid in each division (including the Consolation Bracket) with Men's Club added money.​

BEGINNING IN 2018:  Final matches will be scheduled and played at the same time.  This year the finals will be played on Saturday, May 15th beginning at 8:00 AM.  Please take this into consideration when signing up to play.
POPULAR EVENT.  Signup in the Pro Shop NO LATER THAN: Wednesday, March 10th at 3:00 pm to confirm your participation.  Drawings will take place at 5:00 pm.  Bracket boards will be posted in the Pro Shop by Thursday, March 11th.

March 17-21, 2021    Men's Club Tournament        Spring Shamble        4-man team    $80 per team
FORMAT:    It's a little bit Scramble, it's a little bit Pro Am  -  IT'S A SHAMBLE!  Each player individually receives 70% of their March 17 course handicap.  All four team members tee off and select the best drive.  Each player plays their own ball from that location through the hole.  2 drives from each player is required. The best gross score and the best net score (2 players) are added together on each hole for the team score.

April 14-18, 2021     Men's Club Tournament        The 1 - 2 - 3        4-man team    $80 per team
FORMAT:    Using April 14 Course Handicap (WHS).  Pro-Am format for net scores (strokes fall where they may).  Each player receives full handicap on the handicap holes.  Holes 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16 ONE lowest gross & ONE lowest net scores. Holes 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17 TWO lowest gross & TWO lowest net scores. Holes 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18 THREE lowest gross & THREE lowest net scores.  Pays gross & net in low division and pays net only in higher division.  Divisions will be determined by total combined team handicap and divided accordingly.

May 1, 2021     Pro Shop Event        "Spring Beat The Pro"          Individual Competition          $25 per player (cash only)

FORMAT:    Come on down and test your skills against our Club Professional Mitchell Berschauer

  • Your NET Score against Mitch's Gross Score.
  •  All players MUST be an active Men's Club Member
  • If your NET score beats Mitch's gross score you will split the pot with the other winners who also beat Mitch's score.
  • If nobody beats Mitch's score all participants who enter the event will have their entry fee placed on their book money account.
  • You can make tee times, signup and play anytime Saturday, turning your scorecard into the pro shop just like a desk game following your round.
  • $20 of the entry fee will go into the "Beat The Pro Pot", with the extra $5 going into the Skins/Deuces Pot.
  • All Skins/Deuces are paid out GROSS, not NET.
  • Four (4) KP's will be on the golf course. $25 gift cards to the winners.
  • Participants will also receive a $10 food voucher when you check in and pay your entry fee.

May 19-23, 2021    Men's Club Tournament        Fite/Hendry        2-man team    $40 per team
FORMAT: Using May 19 Course Handicap (WHS).  Team members may only have a 7-stroke handicap difference.  Players will receive 50% of their combined handicap and that will be deducted from their total gross score.  This is a 2-man Chapman event with one score per hole.  Both players will tee off and each will hit their partners ball on their second shot. Players then select which ball will be used for the team. The player who did not hit that ball will take the next shot and then players will alternate shots through the hole.  ALL putts must be holed out, NO GIMMIES!  Players are not allowed to switch golf balls; the ball in play must be used through the hole.  Pays gross & net.

June 9-13, 2021       Men's Club Tournament       Vegas Scramble       2-Man team       $40 per team

FORMAT:  Using June 9 Course Handicap (WHS).  Team members may only have a 7-stroke handicap difference.  Teams will receive 20% of their combined course handicap, which will be subtracted from their gross score.  Each team member will tee off on every hole in no specific order.  After their tee shot ONLY, a player (who is not a member of the team) will roll a single die.  If the resulting roll is an "odd" number, the team must play their first tee shot.  If the resulting roll is an "even" number, the team must play their second tee shot.  From that point forward teams will play a standard scramble format, placing the ball within one club length tee to green, and one putter head length on the green, no closer to the hole.  Rolling the die will ONLY occur after the tee shot on each hole.  Each 2-Man team will pick up a single die in the Pro Shop prior to their round.  The Men's Club will provide a container with dice and expect that each team will return the die to the container after their round.  One score per hole.  Pays Gross and Net.

July 6, 2021        Men's Club Event        Horserace    Sign-up (Open to entire membership)        $0 Cost
FORMAT:    This event is open to the entire membership.  On Friday, July 2, 2021 the final 24 horses will be determined by a completely random selection process (with ALL members eligible) and the results will be posted. This entire event was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID 19 restrictions.  The horse race itself starts promptly at 5:00 pm on Tuesday and will be played on the front-9 this year. Wagers and gathering begins around 3:00 pm and beverages and hot dogs will be available during the event (while supplies last) to all Men's Club members.  It is incredibly fun, don't miss it!!  Selected horses MUST confirm with the tournament director immediately after being notified or alternates may be substituted.​

July 16-18, 2021      Men's Club Tournament        Modified Member-Guest Tournament        2-Man Best-Ball        $40 Per Team 
FORMAT:    Using July 16 Course Handicap (WHS).  Team members may only have a 7-stroke handicap difference.  2-Man Best Ball competition and cross-over teams ARE allowed.  Pro-Am format for Net scores (strokes fall where they may).  Each Player receives full handicap on the handicap holes.  Teams may consist of: Member-Member OR Member-Guest.  Teams having a guest without an established handicap only need to record and total their individual gross and team's gross best ball scores.  Net best ball will be determined after guest's handicap is calculated using "net-75" method.  Example:  gross score of 88 = 88-75=13 handicap.  Tie scores will be broken by scorecard sudden death playoff.  Click on the link for tournament details.  Cross-over teams are allowed.


August 11-15, 2021    Men's Club Tournament        The Memorial     4-man team    $80 per team
FORMAT:    Using August 11 Course Handicap (WHS).  Each player receives full handicap on the handicap holes.  This is a 2-best ball tournament using ONLY NET SCORES.  Add the two lowest net scores on each hole for the team score.  Pays net in two divisions.  Divisions will be determined by total combined team handicap.​  This is a MeadowMore Cup points event.  Holes must be completed by each player, and scores will be posted by our Handicap Chairman.

August 21-22, 2021        Open Member-Only Men's Club Event         Men's Club Championship        $30 per player
Using August 21 Course Handicap (WHS).  36 holes of medal play (all divisions).  Eligibility requires that you be an active Regular Member or Associate Member in good standing, with a minimum of 10 posted rounds at Allenmore Golf Course in 2021.
The deadline to sign-up is Monday, August 16, 2021 at 3:00 pm.  Greens fees for both days MUST be paid in advance with NO refunds.                    Congratulations to Dave Hunter, 2021 Men's Club Champion!  Back-To-Back!

September 1-15, 2021        Open Member-Only Men's Club Event         Senior Men's Club Championship    $30 per player
FORMAT:  Using September 1 Course Handicap (WHS).  36 holes of medal play (all divisions).  Eligibility requires that you be 50 years of age or older; and be an active Regular Member or Associate Member in good standing with a minimum of 10 posted rounds at Allenmore Golf Course in 2021.
OVERALL EVENT:    The competition will take place during the defined 15-day period in which entrants must complete their 36 holes of medal play. Players MUST declare each of their two tournament rounds in the pro shop PRIOR to playing, use the supplied official Tournament Scorecard, and must play with at least one other active Men's Club member for scoring and attesting purposes.  Players may ONLY enter the championship tournament once and submit a total of two tournament scorecards.​

September 8-12, 2021        Men's Club Tournament    Hot Ball   4-man team    $80 per team
FORMAT:    Beginning this year, this tournament will be a 4-man event with the same format.  Using September 8 Course Handicap (WHS).  Teams will receive 20% of their combined course handicap.  This event will pay Gross & Net.  Players should be listed on the scorecard from low hdcp to high hdcp.  If players have the same hdcp, break the tie by handicap index.  If index is the same, designate position prior to the start of the round.  This "New" Tournament is a similar format to the Poison Ball but with an added scramble element.  Each team member is assigned 4 "hot ball" holes, whereby they will play their own ball tee to green, and their gross score counts. Low hdcp players have the "hot ball" on holes #3, #6, #11, & #17.  2nd lowest hdcp players have the "hot ball" on holes #7, #9, #10, & #18.  3rd lowest hdcp players have the "hot ball" on holes #1, #8, #13, & #14.  The High hdcp players have the "hot ball" on holes #2, #4, #12, & #16.  On holes where players do not have the "hot ball", they will play a standard 3-man scramble format and the scramble score will count.  On holes #5, and #15 ALL players will play a standard 4-man scramble for one score on those holes.  The "hot ball" and/or "scramble ball" will be added together for one team score on each hole.  Scramble players: one club length tee-green, one putter-head length on the green (no closer to hole).

September 18-19, 2021            Men's Club Annual Event            The Meadowmore Cup          Qualification/Invitation Only - $0 Cost
FORMAT:  Meadow Park Golf Course will be hosting the tournament this year.  Tee times will be assigned on Saturday and Sunday morning probably starting around 8:00 AM each day.  The Team Captain will be selected at the conclusion of our Men's Club Championship.  Our team members will also be determined immediately following the Men's Club Championship Tournament on August 21-22, 2021.  2021 handicap divisions:  0-6, 7-13, 14 & higher.  Click HERE to see how our members qualify for the team and details on our Captain selection.

October 2, 2021     Pro Shop Event        "Fall Beat The Pro"          Individual Competition          $20 per player (optional $5 dueces/skins pot)

FORMAT:    Come and test your game against Assistant Pro's Brian & Lucas!  Saturday, October 2nd will be our Fall Beat the Pro Day, hosted by the Pro Shop and supported by the Men’s Club! Come and test your game against Brian & Lucas!

  • The competition format will consist of your NET score against their GROSS score. If you beat EITHER ONE of their GROSS scores with your NET score, you will split the pot with the other winners.
  • ​Winnings will be applied to the player's book money account.
  • TIES go to the house!
  • If no participant beats either of the Pro's, your entry fee will go back onto your book money account.
  • Book your own tee times. Event lasts all day.
  • Turn scorecards into the pro-shop when finished.
  • Each player that participates will receive a $10 voucher to the Urban Elk Restaurant. The voucher is considered the same as cash.

October 13-17, 2021    Men's Club Tournament    Shake Em Up    2-man team    $40 per team
FORMAT:    Using October 13 Course Handicap (WHS).  Team members may only have a 5-stroke handicap difference.  Add both players course handicaps together and multiply by .40 (which becomes the team handicap). First 6 holes (1 through 6) will be a 2-man best ball.  Second 6 holes (7 through 12) will be a 2-man Chapman.  The final 6 holes (13 through 18) will be a 2-man scramble.  Pays gross and net.

Better Understand WHS

Unless otherwise specifically posted under each Men's Club Event, you MUST be a paid Men's Club member in the current calendar year to participate.  Members who play in any event prior to renewing their membership will be disqualified from that event.
Beginning in 2020:  To remain in compliance with WHS, all multi-day tournaments / events will be using the members course handicap which is in effect on day 1 of the event through its conclusion.
Dates subject to change:  ANY listed Men's Club tournament and/or event day, date, etc... is subject to change and/or modification based on the needs of the golf course.  The Pro Shop will attempt to provide a minimum of 14-days notice of any conflict and/or change.  The only exceptions to change will be the scheduled dates of the Men's Club Championship and the MeadowMore Cup event (when played at Allenmore).  These two events will not be modified and/or changed unless done so by the Men's Club.
